Worry, worry, worry

Why do we worry? Does it ever accomplish anything? NO! All it does is cause us health problems! Studies have linked those who are habitual worriers to backaches, headaches, stomachaches and ulcers. But that doesn't stop us, does it? Nope, we still think that if we aren't consumed by what ever we worry about that nothing will fix it. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." "Be careful" is translated in different versions as be anxious...be anxious for nothing! It's right there is black and white. And in Matthew 6:34 the Bible says: "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."



God will provide! Little did I know that my goofing off on Saturday and reading a book, and teaching my Sunday School class would have been ways that God would touch my heart and remind me that He is there, and He will provide if I give it over to Him! Today is only Monday, but it has been a bad day. Today started off when I completely slept through my alarm and I woke up at 8:15! I have to be at work at 8:30! So I rush to get ready and get out the door, and

hmmm, I wonder what happened to the rest of my post!? Oh well, read the new post and you can pretty much figure out what the rest of this one said. I just told you about my Monday in which we had some major cuts at work. We thought we were done with them Monday, but as it turned out, we weren't...
